How To

This is our new website:

You can do a lot of things here.  You can sign up for a paddling trip or other event and pay for it.  You can also pay your annual dues.  If you need to pay, you will see the notice on the first page after you log in.

This will make it much more efficient for your club leaders to manage the club.  You can use a credit card or pay from your checking account using PayPal.  If you pay with your credit card, you do not need a PayPal account.

You must log in to participate in the Forum or join a trip. Just click on the 'Login' button to the left.  Your user ID is your first name and last initial plus your Village ID.  For example, if you were John Doe, your ID would be "johnd123456."  Your password is your Village ID.  If you change your email or home address, log in and choose 'My Profile' in the upper right of the Home page.  Update your contact information to continue receiving important notices  about your club.  You may want to change your password.  If so, click on 'change password' in the upper left of the Home page.

You can post your 'Photos', post a for-sale item, or inquire for a paddling partner in 'Forums', or visit the 'Archive' to see all the photos, trip reports, and trip plans from our old web site.

Trip Pictures:

You can upload your pictures directly to this website using the "Photos" link on the left side of this page. Next, select "Upload Photos".  The pictures should be 640 x 480 pixels.  Your camera takes larger pictures, so they will have to be re-sized.  PIXresizer is good, free software.  Download a copy and install it on your computer.

Message Board:

We have our own message board with the new website. Click on the "Forums" link on the left side of this page.

Name Badges:

By popular demand, we have made up name badges for all current Members. You can pick yours up on your next outing with the Club, General Meeting or event. These are provided with pin back holders, and we suggest that you keep them in your car so that you will have them whenever we get together for a meeting, lunch after a trip or social event, so that we will get to know one another better.
